[The value of intathecally contrast enhanced computerized tomography (CT-myelography) in spine injury ].

The computerized tomography gives optimal information in cases of spinal injuries. If a spinal traumatic stenosis and/or neurological symptoms exist the computerized tomography-myelography shows the intraspinal structures and completes the nativa scans to a high degree. The therapeutic measures are influenced substantially. The CT-myelography should be made as soon as possible, especially before an operation. In case of doubt there should be decided to the intrathecally contrast enhanced computerized tomography.
