Abstract

Experiments on rats were made to study turnover and the content of total proteins of rat liver subcellular fractions under isocaloric diets with different amounts of protein. As a result of receiving low-protein diets (9 and particularly 4.5% as regards protein), the half-life of 14 C-lysine decreases apart from a certain reduction in the protein content in all the fractions. Upon unchanged protein content in respect of the control (18% protein), high-protein diet also leads to the half-life diminution. An increase in protein turnover by 4.5% as regards protein in the diet correlates with overall and specific activities of cytochromooxidase in the inner membranes of mitochondria.

通过对大鼠进行实验,研究在摄入不同蛋白量的等热量饮食情况下,大鼠肝脏亚细胞组分中蛋白质的更新率和总蛋白含量。摄入低蛋白饮食(蛋白质含量为9%,尤其是4.5%)后,除了所有组分中的蛋白质含量有一定程度降低外,¹⁴C-赖氨酸的半衰期也会缩短。与对照组(蛋白质含量为18%)相比,在蛋白质含量不变的情况下,高蛋白饮食也会导致半衰期缩短。饮食中蛋白质含量增加4.5%与线粒体内膜细胞色素氧化酶的总体活性和比活性相关。
