[Plastic and reconstructive interventions on the female breast].

An account is given of the most important malformations and precanceroses of the female breast which call for surgical intervention for resulting psychic and physical stresses and for the risk of carcinomatous degeneration. The report is intended to publicize the author's experience obtained from a great number of patients and to disseminate his findings among gynaecologists who are taking an increasing interest in surgical mammoplasty.
