Diagnostic angiography was carried out in 50 soft tissue tumors--23 benign and 27 malignant--of the extremities. All of the malignant tumours could be diagnosed correctly. We obtained false positive results in 2 benign tumours and in 5 inflammatory processes. These cases showed several criteria of malignancy. Angiographic diagnosis is important for the definition of the place of excision for histological examination. Combined use of angiography and computed tomography seems to be the optimal diagnostic procedure in the pre-operative phase.
对50例四肢软组织肿瘤（23例良性和27例恶性）进行了诊断性血管造影。所有恶性肿瘤均能正确诊断。我们在2例良性肿瘤和5例炎症过程中获得了假阳性结果。这些病例显示出一些恶性标准。血管造影诊断对于确定组织学检查的切除部位很重要。血管造影和计算机断层扫描的联合使用似乎是术前阶段的最佳诊断方法。
