Abstract
The analysis of 540 ileoscopy findings from the material including more than 4000 colonoscopies in various pathological conditions of the great bowel is presented. The possibilities for an examination of the small bowel by means of various types of colonoscopes are compared and the most videly and frequently used techniques are described.
