Data on late results of stomach resection carried out upon 505 patients for peptic and duodenal ulcer with the follow-up from 4 to 24 years are presented. Improvement has occurred in 96.4% of the patients, which proves that the stomach resection should be considered as an operation of choice in complicated forms of peptic ulcer.
