Tests about muscle-function include clinical-physical investigation and electrodiagnosis. Examination of condition and strength of muscle and test of reflexes, sensitivity and coordination are involved in the receipt of clinical-physical investigation. Electrodiagnosis is divided into determination of rheobase, chronaxie and accommodation, electromyography and stimulation myography. The first method indicates a quick differential diagnosis about conditions of innervation at the extremities, the others, especially electromyography, take more time and lead to a highly specified determination of different neurogenic and muscular disfunction.
