Side effects of non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs are divided in three groups: unwanted effects resulting from the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, side effects specific for certain drugs, and side effects due to application of drugs in general. Prior to the prescription of non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs the risk of side effects has to be balanced against the expected benefits, the patient has to be informed about possible side effects and their symptoms.
因抑制前列腺素合成产生的不良反应、某些药物特有的副作用以及一般药物应用导致的副作用。在开具非甾体抗炎药处方之前，必须权衡副作用风险与预期益处，必须告知患者可能出现的副作用及其症状。
