1633 patients underwent partial gastrectomy (B I and B II) from 1966 to 1980 and since 3 years 236 patients have undergone selective proximal vagotomy. 80% of these patients were cared postoperatively very close in a special outpatient service. Average out of work time after partial gastrectomy, as like vagotomy, came up to 60 days. This time of inability to work is dependent on the patients' age, additional diseases, postsurgical complications, social level, and last not least on the patients themselves.
1966年至1980年，1633例患者接受了部分胃切除术（毕Ⅰ式和毕Ⅱ式），自3年前起，236例患者接受了选择性近端迷走神经切断术。这些患者中有80%在术后由一个特殊的门诊服务机构进行密切护理。部分胃切除术后的平均误工时间，与迷走神经切断术一样，达60天。这段无法工作的时间取决于患者的年龄、其他疾病、术后并发症、社会阶层，最后但同样重要的是取决于患者自身。
