[Pulmonary fibrosis and pregnancy].

Complete pregnancy of a patient with progressive chronic interstitial pulmonary fibrosis (Hamman-Rich syndrome) is reported in this paper. One pregnancy was interrupted and the other intensively attended to up the 32nd week in which premature rupture of the membranes was followed by caesarean section and subsequent sterilisation. Reference is made to physiological and pathophysiological aspects of respiration in gravidity and in the presence of pulmonary fibrosis.
