Abstract

The horseshoe kidney creates conditions for urine stasis, infection and lithiasis, which facilitate lesion of renal parenchyma. The operative treatment of horseshoe kidney should aim at saving both parts of the kidney. In patients with horseshoe kidney conservative-plastic surgeries are to be recommended, and performed, if possible, to create conditions for good urine outflow from the kidney.

马蹄肾会造成尿液潴留、感染和结石形成的条件，这会促使肾实质发生病变。马蹄肾的手术治疗应以保留双侧肾脏为目标。对于马蹄肾患者，建议采用保守整形手术，并且在可能的情况下实施该手术，以便为肾脏尿液顺利流出创造条件。
