Wegener's granulomatosis, serous otitis media and sinusitis.

A description is given of two patients suffering from Wegener's granulomatosis. The first manifestations were an acute sinusitis and an acute otitis media, with sterile granulomatosis tissue in the diseased organs, high fever and joint complaints. Thereafter the general symptoms of the disease showed themselves. The immediate response to treatment with cytotoxic and corticosteroid drugs was encouraging.
