[Redescription of the infective stage of the filaria Parafilaria bovicola : close relationships between this genus and the Thelazia (author's transl)].

Complementary morphologic data on the infective larva of Parafilaria bovicola are given. Third stage larvae pertaining to the genera Parafilaria (Filariidae-Filariinae) and Thelazia (Thelaziidae-Thelaziinae) show such a great number of common characters that close phylogenetic relationships between both groups can be assumed.
