Abstract

Nasal dermoids are uncommon. The term nasal dermoid, nasal epidermoid and nasal sebaceous cyst are used interchangeably by clinicians. The clinical signs and the surgical findings of 67 cases are reported. No difference was found to distinguish the nasal dermoids from the nasal epidermoid lesions, apart from the presence of hair in the cyst or sinus. The term 'nasal dermoid' should be used to include both lesions and qualified by 'simple' or 'complex' depending on the surgical extent of the tissues involved.

鼻皮样囊肿并不常见。临床医生常将鼻皮样囊肿、鼻表皮样囊肿和鼻皮脂腺囊肿这几个术语互换使用。本文报告了67例患者的临床体征及手术所见。除囊肿或窦道内有毛发外，未发现鼻皮样囊肿与鼻表皮样病变之间存在可资鉴别的差异。“鼻皮样囊肿”这一术语应涵盖这两种病变，并根据所涉及组织的手术范围，以“单纯性”或“复杂性”加以限定。
