Report on complications arising with the first 301 intraocular lenses implanted in Frankfurt University Eye Clinic. The most common complications were postoperative luxations of the intraocular lenses. It was possible to remedy these in most cases. In three cases, postoperative permanent generalised corneal edema occurred.
