Abstract
Hypophysectomy, thyroidectomy and chemical adrenalectomy failed to produce any changes in the plasma calcium and glandular structure of the ultimobranchial gland of the lizard, Uromastix hardwickii, suggesting the lack of its importance in control of ultimobranchial secretion.
