Abstract

The study of the mineral component of bones of rabbits exposed to hypokinesia for 30 days demonstrated no changes in the Ca and P content or in the Ca/P ratio and revealed a decrease in the Mg, Na and K content. Possible involvement of bone tissue in the maintenance of electrolyte composition during prolonged hypokinesia is discussed.
