The report is concerned with a study of certain aspects of attention, as a characteristic of mental activity in schizophrenic patients with different degrees of deterioration. New experimental data have been obtained indicating to such dynamical traits of attention as its stability and reversibility. These facts permit to speak of a progressive (along with the development of the schizophrenic process) changes of voluntary attention, reflecting a drop in mental activity in schizophrenic patients.
