A rare form of lingual tuberculosis in an elderly man is described. It was manifested clinically as nodular infiltration, causing strong pain. The case was diagnosed histologically. Tuberculous bacilli were found. The patient did not react to tuberculin. An X-ray examination showed miliary tuberculous involvement of the lung with excavation.
