Without discussing nor indication or technical the author reminds that secondary effects observed in peritoneography while using classical contrast media are due to hyperosmolality of those products. He realized a comparative study on a clinical level but principaly biological between a classical contrast-medium and AG 62-27 which osmolality is near by blood ones. He insists on additional security brought by this new contrast-medium on new-borns and on prematures because of its perfect tolerance; moreover he points out that the good persistance of opacification during more than 2 hours allows to know to the facts of discreet peritoneal process: which is an important notion for surgeons. Thanks to this product only 2 pictures are necessary which reduces irradiation.
