[Cervical factors in sterility].

The author sets forth most recent views of the role of the cervical factor in the process of conception, of the composition of the cervical secretion, the mechanism of the elimination of the secretion, the sperm transport, secretory changes under the influence of hormones, and the part played by cervical crypts in the whole process. It is pointed out that in the assessment of the cervical factor in the development of infertility, the distributed sperm transport itself is already a disease of the cervix.
