In Turkestan catfish (Clyptosternum reticulatum) passive electrical properties of the skin, the structure of electrical field near and within the fish as well as single nerve fibre impulse activity of electroreceptors, were studied. The resistance and capacity of the skin were 18-25 kOhm.cm2 and 1 micro F/cm2, resp. The effective stimulus for the electroreceptors involved the voltage drop across the skin. The significance of the skin electrical properties for functional characteristics of electroreceptors is discussed.
对塔里木鲶鱼(Clyptosternum reticulatum)的皮肤被动电学特性、鱼体附近及体内的电场结构以及电感受器的单神经纤维冲动活动进行了研究。皮肤的电阻和电容分别为18 - 25 kOhm·cm²和1 μF/cm²。电感受器的有效刺激涉及皮肤两端的电压降。讨论了皮肤电学特性对电感受器功能特性的意义。
