Abstract

Five patients with calcified renal masses were evaluated with angiography and postcontrast computed tomography (CT). Computed tomography showed no contrast enhancement of the mass in four patients, three with avascular hypernephromas and one with a renal cyst; in each case, the lesion was totally avascular on angiography. In the fifth case, the lesion enhanced on CT and proved to be an aneurysm. It is concluded that angiography is most informative in calcified renal masses that demonstrate contrast enhancement on CT.

摘要

对5例肾钙化肿块患者进行了血管造影和增强计算机断层扫描（CT）检查。CT显示4例肿块无强化，其中3例为无血管性肾细胞癌，1例为肾囊肿；在每种情况下，病变在血管造影中均完全无血管。在第5例中，病变在CT上有强化，经证实为动脉瘤。结论是，血管造影对于在CT上显示有强化的肾钙化肿块最具诊断价值。
