[Postmortem studies of the cerebrovascular system by the vascular casting method and microangiography].

The author describes two methods used for postmortem examinations of the cerebral vascular system: vessel casting and microangiography. Both these methods make possible evaluation of small precapillary and capillary vessels - their course, lumen changes, density of the vessel network etc,. extending thus the possibility of morphological examinations of the vascular system in cerebrovascular diseases.
