Easily diagnosed, the temporomandibular dysfunction syndrome is the result of teeth affections. Presenting symptoms are mainly muscular and articular in nature, but treatment is almost exclusively dental, surgery being reserved for exceptional cases only.

颞下颌关节功能紊乱综合征易于诊断，是牙齿病变的结果。其呈现的症状主要是肌肉和关节方面的，但治疗几乎完全是牙科治疗，手术仅适用于极少数情况。
