The electromyograms of canine external urethral sphincter were recorded and analysed with microcomputer ATAC 450 (Nihon Koden Co.). Its electromyographic responses to the alpha-blocker (phentolamine) and beta-blocker (propranolol) were not recognized, although, the action potentials of the external sphincter disappeared by administration of suxamethonium and pancuronium. The opinions that alpha-adrenergic system acts dominantly on the external urethral sphincter can not be supported by our data obtained from this study.
使用ATAC 450型微型计算机（日本光电公司）记录并分析犬尿道外括约肌的肌电图。尽管静脉注射琥珀胆碱和泮库溴铵后尿道外括约肌的动作电位消失，但未观察到其对α受体阻滞剂（酚妥拉明）和β受体阻滞剂（普萘洛尔）的肌电图反应。本研究获得的数据不支持α-肾上腺素能系统对尿道外括约肌起主要作用的观点。
