This paper deals with spouse abuse problems. Male abuse of the female is preponderant statistically, but female abuse of the male also occurs, with unknown frequency. Four case histories and a brief resume of treatment approach are presented. The goal of treatment should be to correct the skew of the marriage, no matter which sex is being abused.
本文探讨配偶虐待问题。从统计数据来看，男性对女性的虐待占主导，但女性对男性的虐待也有发生，频率不明。本文呈现了四个病例记录以及治疗方法的简要概述。无论受虐者是何种性别，治疗的目标都应是纠正婚姻关系的失衡。
