Computed tomography in the diagnosis of superior sagittal sinus thrombosis.

A case of superior sagittal sinus thrombosis is presented. Postcontrast computed tomography (CT) demonstrated a low density within the superior sagittal sinus. The pathogenesis of the CT finding is analyzed and correlated with cerebral angiography.
