Abstract
Orbital auscultation is recommended as a screening technique in patients with subjective bruit or tinnitus, persistent conjunctivitis, exophthalmos, headache, seizure disorder and other neurologic and psychiatric symptoms. It can reveal carotid-cavernous fistula, cerebral arteriovenous malformation, an intracranial mass which is producing increased intracerebral pressure, Paget's disease and other vascular abnormalities.
