Interposition of the tendon of the long head of biceps in fracture separation of the proximal humeral epiphysis.

Three cases of interposition of the tendon of the long head of biceps and anterior periosteum occurring in fracture separating in the proximal humeral epiphyseal cartilage plate are recorded. The operative findings are described and the treatment briefly discussed.
