The practical application of drug assays in general practice.

Why measure plasma drug concentrations? Which drugs should be monitored, and what information is required? Assuming that the objective of drug therapy is to achieve an optimal response, with minimal adverse effects, this paper discusses these questions, and offers some conclusions.
