Report on an autoptically detected combination of a thrombosis of the basilar artery with focal nodular hyperplasia of the liver, papilloma of the choroid plexus and large parietal thrombosis of the right atrium in a 46 year old women who had taken oral contraceptives for ten years. The thrombosis of the basilar artery and the focal nodular hyperplasia are considered to be induced by contraceptives.
