[Spontaneous disappearance of true capillary hemangiomas of the integument in children].

Within the period from 1958 till 1964 the author began observing children having 2292 true capillary cutaneous hemangiomas. During the observation period 2110 hemangiomas disappeared spontaneously with a satisfactory cosmetic result. The authors believe that the size, shape, localisation of hemangiomas and the child's age should be taken into account when giving indications for ablation or other treatment of hemangiomas.
