Abstract
Hybridization of high specific activity 3H-cDNA probe or 3H-RNA of rabies virus with cell DNA did not reveal the presence of virus-specific sequencies in DNA of rabies virus persistently infected BHK 21/13S and HEp-2 cells. Transfection experiments with susceptible cells with DNA isolated from persistently infected cultures also brought negative results.
