Early ectopic pregnancy after vaginal hysterectomy. Two case reports.

Two patients with ectopic pregnancy following vaginal hysterectomy are described. In each patient conception occurred prior to hysterectomy. A review of the literature reveals 23 similar cases with 13 presenting as early postoperative complications and 10 as late postoperative complications.
