[Obturator hernia, an equivocal diagnosis].

Three cases of obturator hernia are reported. An association of small bowel obstruction and obturator neuralgia in an elderly woman is strongly suggestive of the diagnosis. Anatomy, etiology and treatment are briefly discussed.
