Large renal adenoma.

Whether a renal adenoma is benign or a precursor/early stage of development of renal adenocarcinoma is not settled. Bell reported that if the diameter of the so-called adenoma was less than 3 cm. metastatic lesions were encountered seldomly but if the renal tumors were greater than 3 cm. in diameter metastases were frequent.
