[Malignant melanoma of the choroid or metastasis? An echographic differential diagnosis (author's transl)].

The echografic criteria for a differential diagnosis between malignant melanoma of the choroid and a metastasis are described. In particular, the reflectivity of these lesions differs, so that malignant melanoma can be diagnosed with a high degree of accuracy, even in cases with primary tumors where a metastasis in the choroid is suspected.
