Retarded development of speech and language may represent a facultative symptom of minimal cerebral dysfunction. The current neurologic and psychologic or psychiatric considerations in children are reviewed, and follow the author's experiences in speech and language. The treatment for this in patients with minimal brain dysfunction is based on four principles: a) Consultation with patients; b) exercise proceedings in patients involved; c) psychological or pedigogical methods; d) drug therapy. The prognosis for effective therapy in these patients is considered to be quite good.
言语和语言发育迟缓可能是轻度脑功能障碍的一个兼发症状。本文回顾了当前儿童神经学、心理学及精神病学方面的考量，并结合了作者在言语和语言方面的经验。对轻度脑功能障碍患者的治疗基于四项原则：a）与患者协商；b）对相关患者进行训练；c）心理或教育学方法；d）药物治疗。这些患者有效治疗的预后被认为相当良好。
