[Technique for the plastic surgery of the cruciate ligaments].

Reconstructing the cruciate ligaments, one of the major problems is to get a correct tension of the transplant. We achieve this goal using a specially deviced screw. Applying a modification of the Jones procedure, the free end of the pediculated tendon strip will be fixed to the screw by means of a wire loop. The tension applied has been experimentally measured.
