Specific features of these devices determine a complex of medical problems to be solved. So, A-devices find particularly successful application in biometry, M-devices for studying the time course, mainly in cardiology. The possibilities of B- units depend, to a considerable degree, upon the scanning-system tupe. Correlation of clinical experience in employing ultrasonic technique allowed one to recommend examplary sets of diagnosis devices for different medical fields.
