In a 45-year-old man no disturbance of the flowing off from the urinary bladder could be proved which had given rise to the formation of concrements. Renal calculi were not present anamnestically and radiologically. The case in question is a secondary vesicular calculus which had as cristallisation nucleus a perlon thread apparently from the formerly performed herniotomy which had been led through the wall of the bladder.
