This study reports on follow-up controls of 53 children with fractures of the humerus near the elbow-joint. 31 children had supracondylar fractures, 11 condylar fractures and 11 other lesions of the lateral epicondylus. The examination was carried out with special attention to functional aspects. A new own method for measuring the flexion force of the elbow is described. Baumanns angle and the dia-epiphyseal angle were taken into consideration when examining the X ray pictures. We obtained the best results when treating supracondylar fractures by Baumann's extension method. All condylar fractures should be operated on. The follow-up results were also excellent in the operatively fixed fractures of the lateral epicondylus.
本研究报告了53例肘关节附近肱骨骨折患儿的随访情况。31例为髁上骨折，11例为髁骨折，11例为外侧髁上其他损伤。检查特别关注功能方面。描述了一种新的测量肘关节屈曲力的自身方法。在检查X线片时考虑了鲍曼角和骨干骺端角。采用鲍曼伸展法治疗髁上骨折时取得了最佳效果。所有髁骨折均应进行手术治疗。外侧髁手术固定骨折的随访结果也非常好。
