The so-called "periarthritis humeroscapularis"--possibilities of an operative treatment.

The pathological alterations of the periarticular tissue in the differential diagnostics of so called periarthritis humeroscapularis are demonstrated. Their pathological mechanism is explained briefly. Clinical and radiological methods to differentiate the pathological symptoms are described. It has been tried to define the indication and the exact date for an operative intervention. Those operative treatments are demonstrated which allow the expectation of good results in clinical practice.
