Free transplanted intestinal smooth muscle was used for plastic surgery of the sphincter in 137 patients. In 113 patients closure and continence were possible so that a colostomy bag could be avoided. The continence rate was thus 82.5%. Slight parastomal infection occurred in 15 patients. However, this did not affect continence.
137例患者采用游离移植肠平滑肌行括约肌整形手术。113例患者实现了关闭和控便，从而避免了使用结肠造口袋。因此，控便率为82.5%。15例患者出现轻微的造口旁感染。然而，这并未影响控便功能。
