[The Cohen antireflux procedure (author's transl)].

The author reports on his results 121 antireflux plasties by the Cohen technique of transverse advancement and analyses 113 cases of vesico-ureteral reflux and 8 cases of ureteral stenosis. The results after the Cohen procedure are compared with a series of 64 Politano-Leadbetter operations. The Cohen procedure was superior: in the 121 cases no recurrence of the reflux and no stenosis were recorded, whereas after the Politano-Leadbetter technique 4 recurrences of the reflux and 2 stenoses were noted. The Cohen technique is very easy and reliable.
