[Diagnosis of cholelithiasis in jaundice patients and the reasons for diagnostic errors].

The experience of diagnozing causes of jaundice in 2821 patients is described. In 428 (15,1%) patients the jaundice was of mechanical origin. The frequency and diagnostic value of certain symptoms in obstructive forms of jaundice are discussed. The diagnostic role of biochemical indices of the peripheral blood is also analyzed. Their relative significance is shown.
