Activities of aspartate aminotransferase and creatine phosphokinase were distinctly altered within the first 6-7 days of daily blood-sampling in 4 Macaca rhesus. As the subsequent adaptation to the procedure conditions developed and the defensive excitement was decreased the following enzymatic activities were found: aspartate aminotransferase -14.04 +/- 0.58 UN/ml, alanine aminotransferase -19.45 +/- 0.79 UN/ml, creatine phosphokinase -1.88 +/- 0.14 UN/ml.
