Three patients with blunt abdominal trauma underwent computed tomography (CT) as part of their diagnostic evaluation. In each case CT accurately demonstrated the pathological damage to the parenchymal organs. CT is an effective non-invasive diagnostic mode of investigation in the evaluation and follow-up care of the traumatized patient.
