The aim of the study was to determine association between active and passive pain coping strategies with some psychological and functional variables in 67 chronic RA patients. Active strategies reveal negative association with helplessness with as results of illness, and passive strategies reveal positive association with depression, helplessness and functional impairment. The patients who are using mostly active pain coping strategies reveal significantly less helplessness in coping with RA.
该研究的目的是确定67例类风湿性关节炎(RA)慢性患者的主动和被动疼痛应对策略与一些心理及功能变量之间的关联。主动策略与因疾病导致的无助感呈负相关,而被动策略与抑郁、无助感及功能损害呈正相关。大多数采用主动疼痛应对策略的患者在应对类风湿性关节炎时表现出明显较少的无助感。
